Bonjour 1K!
I hope you are all well and showing Mrs McPhee your most beautiful manners? I'm sorry I had to leave earlier than planned, sadly my Dad was sick and I had to come to France straight away. He is starting to feel a little better now which is good. Mr Kimble is flying out here at the weekend and has already collected Jerome from Mrs Browning so that he wont miss out.
I look forward to seeing all your lovely work when I return for next term.
Take care,
Mrs Kimble

Money Money Money!

Mrs Silvester has been teaching us all about money. We have learnt how to recognise the notes and the coins, how to order the coins from least valuable to most valuable, how to count the coins, how to buy things with the correct coins and we think that 1K are very rich (if you count all our plastic money!)
We have also been lucky enough to see some examples of money from other countries. It was very interesting.
Life Cycle Plays.
We were a little busy last week in 1K and so we didn't have time to post an entry. However, we would like to tell everyone about the plays that we made up. We had 3 groups who created 3 different plays. The first was the life cycle of a frog (Connor, Elise, Alecia, Dylan, Arne, Armand and Roshika), the second was the life cycle of a bean plant (Delphi, Tash, Joane, Jess, Cameron and Vaughn), the final one was the life cycle of a butterfly (Calvin, Gabriel, Georgia F, Anastasia, Olivia, Elisha and Luke). Each group was given a life cycle diagram and told to make up a play to teach the students of KG about that life cycle. Once we had worked on them they all looked different. We showed these plays to KG on Monday and they thought they were very good. They could understand each differnt phase of each life cycle. They were also judged by our 3 special judges (Emily, Georgia C and Yustina).
We wonder if you can tell which group is in the photo? You may be able to tell we brought in our own costume pieces and props.
